Summer Reading and Jobs

Hello everyone, I hope you are having an awsome Summer so far. But, make sure you keep up on your summer reading. Try making a goal of how many books you want to read. Try meet your goal ofcourse. It even helps to make a list of book you would be interested to read here are a few I would reccomend for 6th graders:
  • Hoot
  • Fairest
  • Number the Stars
  • No Talking
  • Flush
  • Scat
  • The Mixed Up Files Of Ms. Basl E. Frankweiler
  • The Desert Stone
  • Narnia Series
  • Holes
  • Bridge To Terabithia
  • Island Of The Blue Dolphins
  • Zia
...And so many more, those are just a few of the wonderful books out there today. Speaking of books A great summer job could be tutoring a younger child if you are book smart. If not you could babysit, Mow someone's grass, petsit, watch someone pets if they go away, have a yard sale, or maybe if you can even get a work permit. Anyway, there are so many wonderful books out there, so just don't stop reading because schools out, keep reading and it will pay off in the long run.
peace, love, laughs,
Mckenna
